Because Chautauqua is not exclusively an arts institute, or an institute for political dialogue or one of religious expression -- but rather a rich “mix” of all of the above – gifts made to the Chautauqua Fund without designation are a wonderful way to support all programmatic possibilities.

And while there are focused priorities within annual giving, such as scholarships, Sunday worship giving, lecture support, etc., the magic of the Chautauqua Fund is the combination of all these gifts and what they are able produce annually for this community and for the expression of ideas.
